This is slightly tricky question. When square root of a number is involved the dividing<br />

range becomes 0-1 or >1 since square root of a negative number is not included in<br />

<strong>GMAT</strong>. So if a number is >1 then the question stem is true. And if the number is between<br />

0-1 then the question stem is false. Statement (1) gives us the range as x>0 which takes<br />
