ARAB CENTER FOR ENGINEERING STUDIES<br />

(<strong>ACES</strong>)<br />

Arab Center for Engineering Studies -<strong>ACES</strong>, was established in Amman-Jordan in the year<br />

1983. Eleven sister companies were subsequently established, <strong>Abu</strong> <strong>Dhabi</strong> being the first foreign<br />

branch established in 1989. Other sister companies are located in Al Ain, Dubai, Muscat, Doha,<br />

Amman, Aqaba, Riyadh, Jeddah, Khoubar & Madina.<br />

<strong>ACES</strong> provides specialized consulting services in the fields of Site & Geotechnical Investigation,<br />

Materials Technology and Testing, Special Studies and Projects, Quality Control of Civil<br />

Projects, Environmental Sampling & Testing and Land and Marine Surveying. The services of<br />

<strong>ACES</strong> can be provided in all phases of design and construction of projects. These services may<br />

be custom tailored to fit the needs of the project and its owner and can be provided either<br />

individually or as a complete package.<br />

The site and geotechnical investigation department has carried out investigations for<br />

thousands of diverse projects and clients in the Middle East. Regardless of the size of the project,<br />

3.3 Quality Control of Projects<br />

The quality control of projects is one of the major activities of <strong>ACES</strong>, which has been<br />

pioneered in Jordan several years ago and is gaining popularity with owners, engineers and<br />
