Established in 2006 as the first four-year, public college created<br />
in the U.S. in the 21st century, Georgia <strong>Gwinnett</strong> College<br />
continues <strong>to</strong> make his<strong>to</strong>ry. Georgia <strong>Gwinnett</strong> is the #10 <strong>to</strong>p<br />
public school in the Southern region (U.S. News & World Report),<br />
the most ethnically diverse Southern regional college and ranks<br />
second in the Southern region for the lowest graduate debt.<br />
The college’s growth in its first decade has been dramatic –<br />
enrollment now <strong>to</strong>ps 12,000 students who can choose from<br />
16 majors and more than 40 concentrations. However, average<br />
class size remains small, 21 students on average, the student <strong>to</strong><br />
faculty ratio is 18:1.<br />
Georgia <strong>Gwinnett</strong> celebrates its standing as a “different kind<br />
of four-year college” – with a strong men<strong>to</strong>ring program, a focus<br />
on technology, an incredibly diverse student body (100 nations<br />
and 30 states represented) and a mission <strong>to</strong> provide access <strong>to</strong><br />
all students. The college has over 120 student organizations<br />
and a fast-growing athletic program that has already earned<br />
