LIFETIME WARRANTY FAQs 

1. Does the Reynolds warranty cover OE/co-branded wheels? 

Reynolds branded wheel systems (Reynolds rims in conjunction 

with Reynolds branded hubs) are covered by our industry leading 

limited lifetime warranty. All Reynolds rims assembled by a 

third-party wheel builder will only be covered under a 2 year 

manufactures defect warranty. 

2. Does this apply to all Reynolds wheel lines? 

Yes, this warranty includes all Reynolds Wheel Systems. 

3. Does this warranty apply to wheels sold in the past? 

The warranty applies to any Reynolds wheel system sold to a 

customer after Jan. 1, 2017. Proof of purchase is required. 

4. Does this include Reynolds wheels included on 

complete bikes? 

Yes, as long as the wheel has Reynolds branding and is included 

on a bike as a Reynolds wheel system. 

5. Does the warranty cover wheels globally? 

The warranty covers all wheels sold world-wide. 

6. How does Reynolds cover shipping of warrantied wheels? 

The customer is responsible for shipping the damaged wheel 

back to Reynolds. If the wheel is determined to be under 

warranty, we cover the cost of shipping back to the customer. 

In Europe, Reynolds covers shipping both ways. 

7. Does Reynolds have a no-questions asked crash 

replacement policy? 

a. Yes, the Reynolds Assurance Program (RAP) covers all crashes 

and abuse. The Reynolds Assurance Program provides for a no 

questions asked replacement for any covered wheel, regardless 

of how it was damaged. 

b. `Reynolds offers a lifetime crash replacement program 

that offers the original owner of Reynolds wheel systems an 

opportunity to purchase new product at approximately 50 percent 

off the original purchase price. 

8. Does the lifetime warranty transfer if I, the original owner, sell 

the wheels? 

No, the lifetime warranty is only available to original owners of 

Reynolds wheels. Proof of purchase is required. 

9. What if the rim cracks during a normal ride? 

The lifetime warranty covers the wheels when used for their 

intended purpose. Any wheels that fail while being used for 

their intended purpose are covered under the Reynolds lifetime 

warranty. The warranty does not cover abuse. 

• Intended use: Enduro = Enduro, ATR = Gravel, Aero = Road, etc. 

• Abuse: Aero ≠ Enduro, RZR ≠ ATR…. you get it. 

• Crashes, intentional neglect, lack of maintenance is considered 

abuse. An example of abuse would be getting a flat tire and 

continuing to ride on the rim.

Reynolds carbon wheel systems are 

engineered to be ridden in the most

far exceed the loads incurred during 

intended use. Even the best products 

are not immune to human error, that’s 

why we offer the Reynolds Assurance 

Program, additional protection 

against unforeseen occurrences, 

which provides for no-questionsasked 

replacement.

30-Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee FAQs 

1. Does the 30-day satisfaction guarantee apply to all 

Reynolds wheels? 

Yes, the guarantee includes all Reynolds Wheel Systems sold to 

theconsumer after August 1, 2017. 

2. What is the return process for a customer who purchased wheels 

from my shop? 

The customer must return to the shop from which they originally 

purchased the wheels within 30 days with receipt and proof of 

product registration. Wheels that have not been registered at 

ReynoldsCycling.com are not eligible for return. 

The shop will contact Reynolds Cycling for an RA number and Call 

Tag. Wheels will not be accepted without an RA number. The wheels 

will be shipped back to Reynolds Cycling (Reynolds covers shipping) 

and a new set of wheels of equal or greater value will be shipped out 

as a replacement. 

3. What is the return process for a customer who purchased wheels 

from ReynoldsCycling.com? 

The customer will contact Reynolds Cycling for an RA number and 

Call Tag. The wheels will be shipped back to Reynolds Cycling for a 

full refund of the purchase price. 

4. Is there an option for my shop to purchase the used customer 

satisfaction guarantee wheels? 

Yes, you can purchase the wheels at a discounted price of 10% off 

your pricing level. 

5. Will my account be credited after I return used wheels? 

First, a new Reynolds Cycling wheelset of equal or greater value must 

be selected upon issue of the RA. Reynolds will ship the new wheels 

once the RA is completed. You can select a wheelset of greater value 

and the difference will be invoiced at in-season terms. 

6. Who is responsible for return shipping to Reynolds Cycling? 

Reynolds Cycling will cover return shipping via a Reynolds issued 

call tag 

7. Will I be charged shipping for my replacement wheels? 

No, Reynolds Cycling will cover shipping. 

8. What if the customer damages the wheels and wants to 

return them? 

The wheels can be returned within the 30-day period provided that 

the wheels have not been damaged, abused, or altered in any way. 

9. Do I need to ship the wheels in the original packaging? 

Original packaging is preferred but not necessary. Proper packaging 

should be used to ensure safe delivery of wheels back to Reynolds 

Cycling. Any damages during shipping due to improper packaging 

will be assessed and applied to your account. 

10. What if the customer does not return everything that was 

included with the wheels? 

The customer must return all items included with wheels (i.e. 

skewers, endcaps, valves, etc.) to receive a refund. If any parts 

are missing, the return will be at your discretion and subject to 

additional charges, up to $100 for accessories, once the wheels are 

returned to Reynolds Cycling. 

11. Will there be a restocking fee? 

No. There will be no restocking fee. 

12. Are EP’s and cosmetic blems eligible for the 30-day 

satisfaction guarantee? 

No. The Reynolds EP program and cosmetic blem inventory is not 

eligible for the guarantee. 

13. Is the 30-day satisfaction guarantee available outside of the U.S. 

& Canada? 

At this time, the guarantee is only available to customers in the U.S. 

& Canada.

Our AERO rim profiles improve upon the strengths of our already stellar 

performing DET designs and we complement these with additional 

new features to offer the most versatile, aerodynamic wheels on the 

market. 

Wind tunnel testing confirms that our DET profile optimizations 

near the leading edge and spoke face minimize drag inducing fluid 

separation from the rim surface. The improved profile shapes provide 

a drag reduction of 4-5 Watts over our previous AERO wheels at 

apparent wind speeds approaching 30 kph, and also generate a more 

even pressure distribution over the entire rim surface. This yields 

increased stability over a wider range of riding conditions, translating 

to lower steering input and enhanced crosswind performance. 

A further advantage of the new profiles is their tire option versatility. Our 

AERO rim profiles are designed to accommodate larger tires without 

degrading aerodynamic performance. The 19mm tubeless ready tire 

channels and new rim shapes result in nearly identical lift/drag numbers 

whether using 23c or 25c tires. Riders are free to choose tires for lowest 

rolling resistance and their own preferred ride quality, and still enjoy all the 

aerodynamic benefits the rims offer. 

Our new precision hubs improve lateral stiffness for better control, crisp 

acceleration and improved durability. The center lock rotor models offer 

supreme braking modulation and power in all conditions, and the updated 

High Tg resin in the rim brake versions provides industry leading brake 

heat management for better braking consistency and confidence. The 

durable bearings roll smoothly adding to the superior ride quality of these 

amazingly versatile AERO wheels.
