3) Choose your inside colour from the colour chart 

4) Choose your zip colour from the colour chart provided 

5) Measure and choose your size 

6) For jackets, choose a fastener for storm flap: Velcro or 

press studs 

7) Indicate if you would like a logo with embroidery or 

printed on the jacket or no logo at all.

A quotation will be forwarded within 24 hours. 


1. Chest/Bust. Measure around the fullest part 

of the chest/bust. This measurement should 

be taken beneath your armpits, around the 

widest part of your chest and shoulder 

blades. Make sure to keep the tape measure 

horizontal, and don't pull to tight or hold your 

breath while measuring. 

2. Sleeve. Bend your elbow and put your hand 

on your hip. Ask your friend to measure from 

middle of back of your neck, around shoulder 

and elbow to wrist bone. 

3. Waist. Put the tape around your natural 

waistline, which should be close to your 

bellybutton. Put one finger between the tape 

and your body before you measure. 

4. Hips. Measure around the hips, normally in 

line where the belt would fit. 

5. Back waist length. Measure from the most 

prominent bone at base of neck to the 

natural waistline. 

Note: Please take EXACT measures, as our 

patterns allow for ease of 

movement.

Terms and Conditions: 

1. Prices indicated in our catalogue are intended as a guideline only. Full quotation will be 

given within 24 hours after the enquiry has been received. 

2. All our patterns are graded to allow for ease of movement. Sizes given need to be exact 

body measurements. 

3. If BAJ has made a mistake in building your jacket, alteration costs will be carried by us. For 

incorrect measurements supplied, alteration costs will be for the client’s account. 

4. Our jackets are made from top quality materials. Unconditional guaranteed on quality and 

workmanship is hereby give. 

5. A minimum of 50% deposit is required before manufacture is undertaken. Balance due 

before dispatch. 

6. Build A jacket makes use of the services of the Courier Guy to deliver our jackets safely to 

your door step. Packaging, Insurance and Courier costs are +- R120.00 up to 10 kg’s for 

most areas. A surcharge may apply for outlying areas. 

7. Courier costs are for the client’s account. 

8. Timeframe: 12 working days after placing of order.
