• identify the benefits of meaningful<br />
engagement for people living with<br />
dementia<br />
• discuss the 12 principles that<br />
underpin the Montessori approach to<br />
engagement<br />
• use a variety of tools to identify the<br />
strengths, interests and support needs<br />
of people living with dementia<br />
• systematically plan to implement<br />
improvements in the client group<br />
consistent with the Montessori<br />
principles of engagement<br />
