HELPING THOSE IN NEED
In the wake of the devastation from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Marie, the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation is
establishing a special fund to provide assistance to the IATSE members and their families who will suffer serious financial
hardship.
Many IATSE members have suffered tremendous losses and have been forced to evacuate their homes. Others have
lost their jobs and will suffer from the resulting economic impact on their communities. Some may face unexpected medical
bills or need to provide housing or other assistance to relatives who have suffered losses. It is our hope that financial
assistance from the Foundation will enable these members and their families to get back on their feet in the aftermath of
this tragedy.
The IATSE has agreed to donate $20,000 to the Fund. We ask local unions, members and friends of the IATSE community
to contribute what they can. Checks should be made payable to the “Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation” with a
notation indicating “Hurricane Relief Fund” and be mailed to the Walsh/Di Tolla/Spivak Foundation, c/o IATSE, 207 West
25th Street, 4th floor, New York, NY 10001.
