Dear Collector,
2017 went out with a bang! Many consider art auctions are both expensive and
manipulated. This is the reason some 70% of all art may now be sold by private sale.
Incredible prices.
Salvator Mundi, despite being a controversial Da Vinci, sold at auction recently for some $450M. This astonishing price
is understandable for an old master, given the strength of the current market. Incredibly at the same auction the Cy
Twombly contemporary painting pictured below sold for the princely figure of £45M…..enormous profits for all involved.
It may be difficult for any outsider to understand the value of this piece however contemporary art prices have exploded
over the past decade and will probably continue to rise. TEFAF reported that the global art market reached a staggering
$45,000,000,000,000 (45 Billion dollars) in 2016 and stated that the market was up by 1.7% on the previous year. They
also reported, “In a thriving international art business there was a marked shift to private transactions”.
Cosmic Harley Davidson.
2010 saw the public launch of Cosmic Extensionalist artist Jack Armstrong when he painted the Million Dollar
Harley Davidson. Armstrong, a relative of Neil Armstrong,
eschewed the galleries and dealers and sold privately in the
million dollar range. The Million Dollar Cosmic Harley
promotion was the brainchild of Robert Star and it is still
lauded as the most expensive production motorcycle in the
world. It is currently back on the market with a $10 Million
price tag. The high value for Armstrong’s art was achieved
not only by the intrinsic magic and beauty of the art but by
the uniqueness of his extremely limited production.
Armstrong swore never to paint more than 100 cavasses,
assuring collectors of future explosive values. His genius is
recognized by such collectors as Alice Walton who owns 2
paintings. Narenda Patel, Michael Jackson, Michel Polnareff
and Donny York are also among his famous collectors.
Jack Armstrong, is on the verge of a media explosion despite his
rebel stance. There is a commitment for a thirty minute PBS
documentary (Viewership 109 million and 46 million households)
and Star Global has already produced their movie trailer
featuring Damian Chapa and Eric Roberts. The movie on his life
UNTITLED-Cy Twombly $45,000,000
story begins with his early childhood and fixation with the
largest black star sapphire in the world. Jack became the owner of this unique gemstone, known as “The Black Star
Sapphire of Queensland”, a 743 ct. stone believed to have magic powers and
reportedly worth $100 million.
Star Global is committed to continuing promotion which includes their
commitment to a public/auction price in the very near future. All this activity
will ensure the future value of the art and bring credence to his nickname, “The
Last Wizard”, given to him by his friend Andy Warhol. Jack’s paintings have
been compared by critics to “Jackson Pollock” (see critique in the magazine).
Opportunity.
Jack Armstrong’s art is currently valued and priced between $1.5M to $10M
and is institutionally insurable. At these figures there is an outstanding
opportunity for a savvy collector/investor to get on board for what could be the
next Van Gogh.
You can read more at http://starglobalintl.com . Particularly read the 4-page
interview with Armstrong and reproduced in Star Global’s digital magazine.
This interview was submitted to Art & Museum, the insert supplement of the
elite Family Office magazine, by Dereck Culley who first discovered Damien
Hirst. A hard copy of the first edition magazine which reprints 46 Armstrong
Cosmic Extensionalism paintings is available in very limited numbers. Star
Global will be happy to send the first few people who register their interest a
copy of this prestigious souvenir first edition magazine.
