at Gabriel paints a variety of landscape subjects in oils. He’s drawn to<br />
the distinct lighting effects created at dusk and by thunderstorms, a<br />
transformative light that portrays the ordinary as extraordinary. Many of<br />
his ideas deal with the collision of the natural and the manmade and the<br />
juxtaposition of the beautiful and the utilitarian.<br />
