Financial statement 2010
According to the constitution of NETZ, the above expenditure
statement distinguishes the use of funds for (A) development
cooperation with Bangladesh and (B) global learning and international
understanding. The expenditures for (C) donations, administration
and governance costs serve both statutory purposes.
Staff and operating costs are integrated into the respective work
area according to the money and time required.
88% of the expenditures in 2010 was utilised for development
cooperation with Bangladesh. €2.78 million (82% of total expenditures)
were transferred directly to Bangladesh for projects
which is an increase of €385,000 since 2009.
The annual financial statement of NETZ was prepared in accordance
to the regulations of the Commercial Code and the guidelines of
the German Central Institute for Social Issues as well as the VENRO
Code of Conduct for Transparency, Organisational Governance and
Supervision.
Positive overall result
In 2010, the expenditures exceeded those of 2009 by €438,000
and the income rose by €463,000. The current income in 2010
was resolved in a surplus of €6,215 as compared with the current
expenditures.
