celebration
The Start-up Channable
celebrates Christmas in
the heart of Utrecht.

I
n the early evening 26
employees where cheering
their champagne glasses
in the private bar area of the
restaurant. “We all want to thank
you for the success of the last year.
Without you we would not be here
tonight.”, says Rob Nuenen, one of
the Co-founders of the company.
Based at Janskerkhof in Utrecht,
Channable was founded in 2014 by
Robert Kreuzer, Stefan Hospes and
Rob Nuenen.
Their online marketing tool allows
online retailers and
marketers to easily push
their product information to
comparison websites and market
places. After the development of
the first version of this program
they gained big brands as their
first customers.
Quickly becoming the Dutch
market leader, they grew to a team
of 36 people with six different
nationalities, helping
thousands of online shops all
around the world.
Such a success needs to be
celebrated in a dignified manner.
“We wanted to have a great meal
together with the entire Channable
team in an atmosphere that was
completely different from what we
are used to at the office.
So, that meant: dressing up!”
explains Rob with a smile on his
face. “We wanted to celebrate what
we achieved together in 2016.”
Channable celebrated together
with the start-up company
Rentman in a remarkable way.
Next to sharing an office they
already know each other from the
beginning.
After realizing all the similarities
of each other’s company, they
decided to share facilities.
Exchanging experience, success
but also mistakes is important
to both. “Since Channable will
probably move to another office
within a couple of months, we
wanted to celebrate Christmas
together one more time.”, the cofounder
adds.
After a great start into the night,
the head waiter asked everybody
to get seated at the long-extended
tables. With a short speech, he
introduced the dinner and let
the first wine be served. Soon
the starter followed and guests
enjoyed the company of the person
sitting next to them. Different
types of red and white wine
were provided, such as Grauer
Burgunder from Germany and
Chardonnay from France.
