PARENT’S NIGHT OUT ...by Jamie Roupp
Attention all parents! We are giving
you a night of free childcare so that you
can have a night out (or a quiet night
at home!). We will be holding it at the
church on Friday, November 11th from
6pm-10pm. We will serve dinner and
snacks, play games, do some crafts, etc.
while you have time to yourself. We will
set up a “sleep room” for those who
need to go to bed while at the church,
QUILT — SNEAK PREVIEW ...by Sheila Hungerford
The Plymouth Guild quilters are happy
to announce that this year’s raffle quilt is
finished. It’s a beauty! A variation on the
traditional Flying Geese pattern, we’re
eager for all of you to see it.
We will be making our gala presentation
of the quilt to all of you some Sunday
soon (at both services!). We’re hoping to
have a brass band, or at least a trumpet
fanfare. Stay tuned.
Thanks to those of you who responded to
our recent request for help in marketing.
We’ll be calling on all of you to help us
sell tickets. A picture of the finished quilt
will be sent to all so that those of you with
so just bring their sleeping necessities
and let us know their bedtime. Please
sign your kid(s) up by November 9th by
emailing Jamie Roupp
at JRoupp13@hotmail.
com.
Thank you!
Fabric of Vision at 145 East Main in Ashland
will be displaying our quilt this fall
on their beautiful antique brick wall and
will sell raffle tickets for us. The quilters
are indebted to Sandi at F of V for her
good guidance
over the years.
