NEW THERESIAN - the history of this type of light<br />
fixtures dates to the 18th century. At that time a<br />
new type of chandelier appeared, its construction<br />
featuring arms in the shape of a lyre rather than a<br />
main central weight-bearing rod. These chandeliers<br />
were first introduced in Prague during the coronation<br />
of Empress Maria Theresa in 1743. Their current<br />
common-name reflects the name of the empress.<br />
The NEW THERESIAN refreshes this classic shape<br />
from the 18th century with a modern and innovative<br />
form.<br />
