TRAINING LENGTH AND OUTCOMES LifeMC offers three qualifications. Each qualification takes 12 months to complete when enrolled as a full-time Learner. FULL TIME OPTION You’ll be trained for ministry like a building apprentice trains to be a builder. TYPICALLY LEARNERS WILL SPEND: ► Practice Work – at least 20 hours of ministry under the guidance of excellent practitioners in ministry. Some areas of practical ministry are: Christian Leadership, Children’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Filipino Ministry, South Sudanese Ministry, Asian Ministry, Music and Christian worship, SRE, Chaplaincy ► ► ► Course Work - One day a week in a small class environment – Bible and ministry training through the Vocational Bible College in small groups with other Learners from their local area. In 2018 this will be Tuesday 9:00am-3:15pm (4:30pm in Terms 3 & 4) at Life Anglican Church Quakers Hill. College Fees - 2018, Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology, $4000 (this amount is paid directly to Life Ministry College) Austudy – For Australian citizens or permanent residents, students could be eligible for government assistance in the form of Austudy. CERTIFICATE IV, DIPLOMA & ADV DIPLOMA IN CHRISTIAN MINISTRY & THEOLOGY TRAINING PATHWAY Life Ministry College offers a pathway of learning that will begin with a Certificate IV in Ministry and Theology, then the next year will complete the Diploma in Ministry and Theology. For students who wish to pursue the third year of training, they would attain an Advanced Diploma in Ministry. In conjunction with the Sydney Anglican Diocese this is a recognised pathway for ordination. ► ► ► The Certificate IV in Christian Ministry and Theology (10433NAT) is stage 1 of VBC training and will equip a person with the knowledge and skills to be a key member of their local church and a light for Christ in their workplace. The Diploma of Christian Ministry & Theology (10434NAT) is stage 2 of VBC training and is designed to equip ministry coordinators (Kids Church, Youth Group, Men’s or Women’s Ministry etc) within a local church community. We will dig deeper into God’s word and develop ministry skills to lead others. The Advanced Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology (10435NAT) is stage 3 of VBC training and is designed to be the final stage of training for someone seeking employment in a local Church as an Assistant Minister or parachurch organisation as a chaplain. “As a Children’s minister for the past 18 years I have trained many people at Bible college and in church to communicate the truths of the Bible with children in a creative way.
