Master Plan
LIVES IN BALI reconnects you with nature. The Balinese concept of life determines that nature in all forms is equally as important as
mankind itself. The manner in which the local community respects nature is based on an ancient calendar system of spiritual rituals and
rites. It is not uncommon to find trees in Bali wrapped in ceremonial cloths and there are even auspicious days dedicated to the worship
of livestock and rice terraces.
LIVES AT BALI SORGA VILLA RESORT draws on Bali’s age-old wisdoms and spiritual beliefs to create a green living concept that
influences the design of each unit. The entire property, featuring 24 villas, will be built to respect the natural contours of the landscape
with its 50 year leasehold status. This particular parcel of sloping land is 500 metres wide and 2500 metres above sea level. It is blessed
with 180 degree views spanning from Mount Batukaru in the west to the International Airport in front, crossing Kuta beach and
stretching towards the northern-east to Mount Agung and Mount Batur in the distance.
THE BUIDLING CONCEPT FOR BALI SORGA VILLA RESORT is inspired by the notion of seamless living where the indoors and garden
become one. The construction itself will comply with international building standards and primarily make use of high quality local
materials. Distinctive thatched rooftops will be complemented by different varieties of natural stone and native timber. Exterior walls will
be covered in indigenous stone or other local materials washed lightly in earthy shades of colour that do not detract from the visual
beauty of the surrounding environment.
The proposed interior décor for villas at BALI SORGA will celebrate the island’s artistic heritage and superb craftsmanship. The look will
see a collaboration of comfortable furnishings in rich textiles and contemporary accessories with a tropical edge. This choice of décor is
intended to capture the warmth and graciousness of the island and its people.
