Make Your Life Your Message
Like so many entrepreneurs and
professionals, there are things I take
interest in that don’t have to do with work, like: travel,
food, beauty and fashion. But at the beginning of 2017 I
realized that I engaged in none of that. My life consisted
of coffee in the morning, spending the day in front of
my computer working, eating, (somewhat) and sleeping.
When I was faced with the reality of the life I was
living, I asked myself: “whose life is this???” It was like
a wake-up call and suddenly I was determined to live
the life that lay dormant in my heart and in the back of
my mind for years.
Although this is a preview issue to show readers and
partners what we’re working with, it’s also a message to
everyone who is stuck. Stuck doing the same old things
with a strong desire to transform, transition and turn
their life around.
This issue is full of beautiful things as a reflection of the
beauty that is in this world that we could all potentiallly
be missing if we continue to keep our noses pressed into
our work, our bad habits, our ignorance and even our
families.
My hope is that you take a moment to realize the entirety
of your being. What do you love? What do you like to do?
Where do you want to go? What do you want to wear?
Throw caution to the wind and just do it.
This magazine is a symbol of desires that have burned
inside me for years and my hope is that it will ignite a
fire inside of you, to step out and do those things you
only dared to do in your imagination.
