2018 White Mountain Classic

While snow on the ground is the main concern for the
skiers, there are many behind-the-scenes tasks that need
to be done to not only ensure a great event but also one
that showcases our community-based nonprofit mission.
We’d like to specifically thank the landowners that donate
their land to have these incredible trails that make up the
course. Without you, the White Mountain Classic 30KM
Race would not live up to its name.
Additionally, we need to thank the Jackson NH Police
Department who helped keep our participants and drivers
safe at multiple road crossings.
We’d also like to thank the 50+ volunteers and Sarah
Kimball, our White Mountain Classic Volunteer Coordinator,
as well the kids and PTO parent volunteers of the Jackson
Grammar School who served our racers lunch. These
generous volunteers gave up a Saturday to assist with
parking cars, road crossings, snack & drink stations,
course set up and tear down and more, to ensure a great
event for our skiers.
Lastly, a special thank you to our race sponsors Swix,
Fischer, Salomon and Gorham Bike and Ski as well as
our considerate local businesses that donated goods for
the day. The generosity and true love for skiing in this
community really shines through in this 14th Annual
White Mountain Classic 30KM event.
