MARINE & LAND BOOMS<br />
Our booms are capable of absorbing large volume whilst also providing<br />
containment of spills on land or water to reduce potential contamination of<br />
the environment. All booms are manufactured to the highest standards to give<br />
maximum performance..<br />
At their extensive manufacturing facility in rural Cambridgeshire,<br />
<strong>Fentex</strong> have successfully commissioned a new manufacturing line<br />
to supply high quality absorbent booms to the UK industrial sector,<br />
Environment Agencies and export markets.<br />
Marine booms<br />
• 12cm or 20cm diameter, 3 metres long<br />
• Robust outer net to allow ingress of contaminants<br />
• Hydrophobic absorbent fill - will not absorb water<br />
• Strong inner rope along the length of the boom for<br />
added strength during handling<br />
• Hooks and rings at each end to allow overlapping and<br />
coupling together<br />
Land booms<br />
• 12cm diameter, 3 metres long<br />
• Robust outer skin over oil absorbent fill<br />
Standard Fill<br />
• Flaked absorbent filling within inner sock and net<br />
• For fuels and oils<br />
SPAG (Spaghetti) Fill<br />
• Absorbent strips in outer net (no inner sock)<br />
• For viscous/heavy oils e.g. fuel oil<br />
