Fragment the meal according <strong>to</strong> your bodily needs. Our body needs a pre-decided proportion of<br />

nutrition <strong>to</strong> remain healthy. If the proportion is less, then it will cause malnutrition in the body<br />

and in case of large proportion, the excess of nutrition turn in<strong>to</strong> fats. Therefore, a balance needs<br />

<strong>to</strong> be maintained. To create a balance, follow this weight management method- divide the<br />

platter in<strong>to</strong> two unequal proportions. One palm-sized portion should contain lean protein.<br />

Choose Salmon or chicken as they both are good source of lean protein. Another fist-sized portion<br />

should consist of unrefined grain. Brown rice is one the best form of unrefined grain. The largesized<br />

portion should consist of green and leafy vegetables. This type of meal will satiate the<br />

Never skip the meals<br />

Dieting or skipping the meals is not a good option. Always have three meals plus snack meals<br />

in a day on daily basis. Skipping a single meal can majorly affect your diet. As the hunger in<br />

the next meal increases, if one misses the former meal. As a result there will be more in-take<br />

of food <strong>to</strong> meet the satiety level.<br />

Consume more calories in the daytime<br />

Bodies are more active in the day time. Hence, have heavy meals in the breakfast and lunch,<br />

whereas eat less in the evening. Consume lighter meals in the evening <strong>to</strong> satiate the hunger<br />

as we are less active in the night as compared <strong>to</strong> the daytime. Follow the saying “breakfast<br />

like a king, lunch like a Prince, eat dinner like a beggar”.<br />

Increase fiber in-take<br />

Fiber is essential for the human body. Though, many people are found deficient in it.<br />

Therefore, there is a need <strong>to</strong> increase the amount of fiber. It helps in controlling the hunger<br />

and lowering the cholesterol level. Consume the food which is rich in fiber. Whole-grain<br />

bread, brown rice, cereals etc. are foods rich in fiber.<br />

Exercise daily<br />

Exercising is necessary <strong>to</strong> reduce excessive weight. Exercising can be done in any form. Long<br />

walks, swimming and cycling – are some of the best form of exercises. Do exercising at least<br />

30 minutes in a day. It not only reduces the weight but also keeps the active and strengthens<br />

the immune system. People who exercise daily are less likely <strong>to</strong> fall ill and suffer from health<br />

issue.
