Wengen is located at 1‘274 meters above sea on a sunny terrace,
400 meters above the Lauterbrunnen valley. The traditional, car-free
holiday resort is the ideal starting point for winter sports enthusiasts and
hikers alike. From the village, one can see the Jungfrau and the Silberhorn
and other majestic peaks of the Swiss Alps.
Wengen is known as the venue of the international Lauberhorn ski race,
the longest, hardest and most beautiful descent in the Ski World Cup.
Nightlife goes on in many bars and pubs as well as nightclubs.

Europe. The highest railway station in Europe at 3‘454 meters above sea level.
It offers visitors a high-alpine wonderland of ice. Snow and rocks, which you can

THE MICHEL-HOUSE
The typical Bernese Oberland chalet is located right next to the hotel and dates from the 16 th century.
It is unfortunately in disrepair but it has its own charm and a fair amount of grounds surrounding it.
This historic house is not connected to any utilities and is not suited for living in in its current status.
With a little bit of work and imagination this house can be turned into a real jewel. The property
is neighbouring the hotel and the ski run is directly in front of the house. The entire area,
Hotel and Michel-house is an area of 4098 m 2 . Such a large area with these residential buildings
is unique in Wengen. Here you can make your dreams come true.
DAS MICHEL-HAUS

hikes. Over 500 km of marked trails and 15 cable ways in the nearby
surroundings lead to the most beautiful vista points of the Jungfrau
region. Such as the classic panorama trail between Männlichen and
the Kleine Scheidegg from where the view of the three summits of
the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau is particularly impressive.
Great astonishment is guaranteed when you walk the Eiger Trail at
the foot of the world famous Eiger north face, a medium-difficulty
mountain walking tour.
WENGEN DAS WANDERPARADIES
Wengen bietet die ideale Ausgangslage für erholsame und unvergessliche
Wanderungen. Über 500 km markierte Wanderwege und 15 Bergbahnen
in der nahen Umgebung führen zu den schönsten Aussichtspunkten
der Jungfrau Region, wie zum Beispiel dem klassischen Panoramaweg
zwischen Männlichen und der Kleinen Scheidegg, von wo aus die Aussicht
auf das Dreigestirn von Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau besonders eindrücklich
