REALTY UPDATE<br />

and beef units in Central and Western Southland.<br />

Prices are around $1,100 to $1,300 per stock unit<br />

with a shortage of farms on the market. We are<br />

seeing a stronger demand from genuine purchasers<br />

for the 5,000 plus stock unit properties.<br />

Dairy units in the top tier have been selling well with<br />

three sold over $41,000 per hectare. Currently there<br />

is an over supply of medium properties on the market,<br />

but with cash flows improving and limited new<br />

conversions, this could change during the season.<br />
