Formed in 2010 Al Murabit is the premier Iraqi security
company. It is Iraqi owned and managed by an experienced
and capable expatriate team, supported by committed
and well-trained Iraqi staff.
we understand the broader commercial environment in
Iraq. This includes the requirements of EPC Contracting
and the provision of partnership and advisory solutions to
foreign investors.
Al Murabit was the first company in the world to successfully
achieve both PSC-1 and ISO 18788 by an in-the-field
audit of operations in Iraq. This was made even more challenging
by the fact that the audit itself was undertaken’ in
Iraq by UKAS.
We are members of the UK-based association Security
in Complex Environments Group (SCEG), and actively
participate in their development work.
Al Murabit has a unique approach. We do not operate as a
simple supplier of security commodities, we act as a proactive
enabler. We measure our success by the ability of
our clients to achieve their targets in Iraq. This is why we
also offer the services of secure logistics, accommodation
and life support.
