Our textile engineers created an
elaborate knit structure which
optimizes the moisture transport
dispersion in the cotton layer,
allowing for air to move
inward to cool the wearer.
All Dri-Balance fabrics have two
layers. Against your skin is 100%
microfiber polyester, plaited to
a 100% combed cotton surface.
Moisture is moved from the skin
to the cotton instantaneously
keeping wearer dry and cool.
Syntrel
This Zorrel exclusive microfiber
polyester fabric is also a blend.
While Syntrel® is 100% polyester,
specialized hydrophilic and
hydrophobic filaments make it
unique. This blend achieves a
fabric which quickly moves
perspiration from the wearers
skin to the outside and keeps
the perspiration on the outside.
Syntrel fabrics are lightweight,
have a pleasing hand feel, and
contain inherent insulation
properties.
Technicore
Zorrel’s newest technical fabric is
Technicore Endurance.
100% polyester fabric utilizing
advanced spinning and knitting
techniques to give it the look
and hand feel of fine cotton.
Technicore goes way beyond
standard cotton by offering -
UV Protection, Durable Moisture
Management, Anti-Microbial,
Superior Stability, and Pill
Resistant.
Tri-Reg
Tri-Reg is proprietary Zorrel
fabric which incorporates 3
performances and features:
• Body Heat Regulation –
keeping you cool when its
warm, and warm when it’s cool.
• Wind Blocking to protect you
from the breeze
• Moisture Wicking capabilities
to keep you dry when
working out.
The uniqueness of Tri-Reg keeps
you dry and comfortable in
nearly all temperatures without
overheating.
UV Protection
The sun’s invisible ultraviolet radiation (UV)
spectrum has been linked to higher skin cancer
risks, accelerated skin aging and sunburn. The
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating system
represents the measured UV protection provided
by fabric; and the results are affected by the
color, content, and construction. UPF Rated
Fabrics block UVA and UVB rays. OMNi Apparel Inc. follows
AATCC 183-2014 to test fabrics for the level of sun protection
achieved. OMNi does not use topical additives or treatments to
achieve sun protection as those finishes tend to launder
off through wearing and washing.
MMT Ratings “How good is your tech tee?”
The testing standard AATCC 195 is a test method for “Liquid Moisture Management
Properties of Textile Fabrics”, and “produces objective measurements of… moisture
management properties of… “ fabrics. In an effort to quantify the test into a meaningful
indicator for a technical fabric, OMNi Apparel has
established Moisture Management Textile (MMT)
Ratings based upon two indicators from this test.
The levels rate on a scale of MMTBASE (modest) to
MMT1000+ (exceptional).
If the Zorrel style indicates a MMT rating on our
apparel, you can be assured that you are buying
tested and validated performance shirt.
