The website is up and running and will be open for ride entries in<br />

February. It is hoped that more charities and schools will be<br />

involved this year and anyone who wishes to be involved as a<br />

marshal, volunteer or a sponsor are asked to get in touch with the<br />

Crankers. The ride is ably supported by the <strong>Liphook</strong> Guides who<br />

run the refreshment stops as well as their renowned stall at<br />

Bohunt.<br />

The annual <strong>Liphook</strong> Bike Ride in its 28th year is, along with the<br />

famous <strong>Liphook</strong> Carnival, one of the biggest events in the village with<br />

over 1000 riders routinely taking part watched by 100’s of spectators<br />

and makes a such a significant contribution to local charities.<br />

One of the hallmarks of the ride is the wonderful way it attracts<br />

such a wide and diverse range of participants; from elite riders<br />

who are after a personal best to people of all ages and abilities<br />

riding for their first time - often in fancy dress and representing<br />

schools, charities and worthy local causes, along with the 100’s<br />

of under 12’s who ride the junior ride. It is great to be able to see<br />

such a large number of people enjoying themselves and making<br />
