<strong>Joy</strong> <strong>Bungalow</strong> was the first resort built on <strong>Koh</strong> <strong>Jum</strong> back in 1990, long a backpacker<br />
favorite and the best-known resort on the <strong>Island</strong>.<br />
<strong>Joy</strong> <strong>Bungalow</strong> is <strong>of</strong> Thailand’s true travelers’ meeting points. All kinds <strong>of</strong> people, <strong>from</strong><br />
all corners <strong>of</strong> the globe have made <strong>Koh</strong> <strong>Jum</strong>, and in particular <strong>Joy</strong> <strong>Bungalow</strong>, their<br />
escape <strong>from</strong> the rest <strong>of</strong> the world. This small, unpoint tropical hide-away has a unique<br />
ambience which lends itself to quiet contemplation and genuine feeling <strong>of</strong> inner peace.<br />
The lack <strong>of</strong> electricity on the <strong>Island</strong> enhances this feeling with oil lamps and candles<br />
used for light.<br />
