EDITOR’S NOTE
Welcome to the Easter issue of
HUBCAST What’s On Devon
Firstly, I’d just like to say thank you very
much to everyone who’s commented
about the magazine. There’s been great
responses from everyone and it’s lovely to
hear your thoughts.
We also had a great response in regard
to the previous map. Apologies to those
attractions we couldn’t fit in last time,
hopefully our two new maps will have all
of Devon’s best places to visit! Do call us if
we’ve missed you out.
In the next few weeks the desktop version
of the website is having a re-skin, with
some added extras to help organisations
get the most from the website. (Don’t
worry, it’s still totally free
to use and to add all
your events!)
Hope you have a lovely
Easter!
brand new publication has taken us a steady year and a half
of continuous work, bringing together great tips, help and
advice from many business professionals working within
the home sector. What’s particularly neat is that these
contributors are all Devon based, effectively tapping in to
an impressive store of expertise right on our doorstep.
The Yearbook also displays completed projects from many
excellent Devon based businesses in a highly visual format,
allowing the public to see what’s available for their home
project.
The Home Design Yearbook will be available at their
MIKE BERNARD RI
FAVOURITE PLACES
A solo show of 42 new paintings
Saturday April 14 - Friday April 27
The distinguished Devon based artist Mike
Bernard has created a superb collection
of new works for this his biennial show at
Marine House.
Mike’s affinity for composition,
structure and colour interpreted
with his special collage technique,
make his paintings consistently
amongst the most popular we
have exhibited in the last twenty
years.
For this show Mike reinterprets hallmark
locations around Devon, London and
Southern Europe and complements these
with beautiful still life studies. As ever,
Mike’s style constantly evolves and this fine
grouping reflects his first outing with a looser
and more impressionist approach.
The show is a feast for the eyes
and reinforces Mike’s status as
one of Britain’s leading artists.
Contact the gallery for a
complimentary colour catalogue
and invitation to the opening day
from 11.00am on Saturday 14
April when Mike will be present.
Paintings are for sale from release of the
catalogue and can be viewed on our website.
