ENGRAVING OPTIONS
CASEBACK AND CLASP ENGRAVING GUIDELINES
Engraving Citizen Case and Clasp Backs
Available on most watches. To engrave logos, a $50.00 (g) set-up charge
applies to all quantities ($25.00 (g) for repeat orders). Running charge is
$1.20 (g) determined by quantity. Personalization is $10.00 (g) for up to
2 lines, subject to available space.
An option is to remove (buff) the Citizen information and replace with
engraved copy or a logo. Buffing is $12.00 (g). Buffing of the case-back
is only available to Citizen Watch models without a serial number or control
number engraved on the case-back - this includes all Quartz models
and most Eco-Drive models, but may exclude models with Atomic Time
Keeping and GPS.
Caseback Buffing
The Eco-Drive logo on the case-back can be removed by buffing. The
charge is $12.00 (g) per watch. However, bu ffing is not available for models
with Atomic-timing/GPS functions and those with serial numbers. With
a buffed clean case-back, there is room for a logo or up to 3 lines of text
with maximum 10 and 7 characters for the gent’s and ladies’ models respectively.
All Eco-Drive models have an Eco-Drive logo on the back of the case.
There is room available around the logo, to engrave type – maximum 20
characters on gent’s models and maximum 12 characters on the ladies’
models.
Citizen Quartz models have some space available around their copy information,
for logos and/or type. The gent’s models have room for up to
3 lines of engraving, up to 7 characters per line. The ladies’ styles also
have room for up to 3 lines, but a maximum of 5 characters per line.
