Enjoy both a tucked-away location and harbor views at The Olive Grove. As its name implies, the four-bedroom villa is nestled among the trees above the town of Mykonos and looks out over the sea. It’s a short walk or drive to town and several beaches, and pristine white interiors and a private pool add to the property’s charms.
The villa opens to a stone terrace with built-in seating and a shaded cocktail table. Cross the lawn to the daybeds and plunge pool, and follow a stone path through the olive trees to a pergola with a dining area. A wood-fired barbecue makes it easy to prep local seafood, while a satellite TV and Wi-Fi keep you entertained and a floor cooling system ensures a comfortable stay.
Monochromatic white interiors at The Olive Grove create a blank canvas for the changing light that floods the rooms. The minimalist living room, which opens to the terrace and has sea views, has both built-in and freestanding white sofas on two levels, piled with crisp white cushions. There’s also a dining room that can seat eight guests, and a fully equipped modern kitchen.
There are two bedrooms on the ground floor of The Olive Grove and two on the second floor; all four have en-suite bathrooms. The downstairs bedrooms have two twin beds and a double bed and separate entrance, respectively. Upstairs, both bedrooms have double beds, ocean views and access to a balcony.
From the villa, it’s a 10-minute walk to the town of Mykonos, a 2-mile drive to Mykonos Island National Airport, 3 miles to Mykonos Tennis Club and 4.5 miles to the town of Ano Mera. If you’ve come to Mykonos for the beaches, start with Agios Stefanos Beach, 1.5 miles from The Olive Grove, Agios Ioannis Beach, 3 miles away, Agios Sostis Beach, 4 miles away, and Mykonos Paradise and Panormos beaches, just over 4 miles away. It’s also not far to Kalo Livadi Beach, 6 miles away, Elia and the Kalafati beaches, about 7 miles away, and Lia Beach, 7.5 miles away.
