Welcome to the first edition of the <strong>Guysers</strong> <strong>Gazette</strong><br />
for 2018 – the quarterly e-magazine produced by<br />
<strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay B&B in Rotorua, New Zealand.<br />
When staying at <strong>Guysers</strong> Gaystay, one of the<br />
highlights is our hearty breakfasts. We show you<br />
what’s on offer and even share our recipe for our<br />
delicious <strong>Guysers</strong> French Toast.<br />
Recent guests, Steven and Tyler from the USA, tell<br />
us about their 1 night stay in Rotorua and what they<br />
managed to experience in that short time.<br />
Two new additions to Rotorua’s bathing experiences<br />
are in the pipeline; the Secret Spot Cedar Hot Tubs in<br />
the Waipa Valley and the very impressive Wai Ariki<br />
Hot Springs and Spa complex due to open late 2019.<br />
We feature some of the attractions that are totally<br />
unique to Rotorua, and in some cases, the world!<br />
In January this year, the New York Times released its<br />
annual 52 Places to Go in 2018 list, of which Rotorua<br />
made it to this list – the only place in New Zealand<br />
to do so.<br />
From the 1st of March 2018, PrEP became funded<br />
in New Zealand. We have provided you with<br />
information about PrEP and websites you can use<br />
to find out if you meet the Pharmac criteria.<br />
