Dining spaces are an integral part of building and
strengthening campus communities – fostering lifelong
connections between people and the campus. In fit
and finish, they should appeal to the broad and diverse
campus population while reflecting the attributes of the
campus brand. Operationally, they should be intuitively
organized, labor-efficient, and sustainable. But, most of
all, they should create great, differentiated, memorable
customer experiences.
With our background in creating consumer environments
for national and international brands, Bergmeyer
understands the power of a well-designed experience
to connect people and places on an emotional level,
reinforcing and cementing that connection to a brand
and its values.
We will approach our assignments collaboratively
- working with the client team to create a shared
understanding of desired project outcomes, budget
and financing realities, code and physical constraints,
operational and evolutionary goals, and opportunities to
improve the student, staff and visitor experiences. At
our kickoff meetings we identify how each stakeholder
will view the project as a success -- from schedule
adherence to healthier working conditions, from
operational cost reductions to supporting the campus
mission. These metrics will serve to guide our collective
decision-making.
