When Brazilian Fernando had a car<br />
accident and lost the use of his legs<br />
he turned to paddling.<br />
He then went on to win the sprint in<br />
the paracanoe in 2010.<br />
Next August Fernado embarks<br />
on a different challenge when he<br />
will paddle 800 kilometre on the<br />
Rio Xingu. This journey will be led<br />
by his coach Diana Nisimura who<br />
introduced Fernando to paddling<br />
