TESSELAAR TULIP
FESTIVAL
The Tesselaar Tulip Festival has grown from humble farming
beginnings to become one of Victoria’s most loved and iconic
tourist attractions. It showcases the breathtaking beauty that is
the kaleidoscope of over 750,000 tulips blossoming in the fields
of Silvan every year from mid September until mid October.
Whilst the star attraction is the tulips, visitors can also enjoy
picking their very own bunch of tulips, live entertainment all
day, market stalls, souvenirs, culinary delights, traditional Dutch
costumes and games, a sculpture exhibit among the tulips,
a guided tractor ride or a pleasant fresh mountain air stroll
around the fields.

THE BIG BOUQUET
Enjoy the stunning year round display of flowering Gerberas
in the 3 acre glass house, Take a guided tour to get the most
out of many photo opportunities. Alpaca food is available
to purchase to ensure you can experience being close and
personal with the ever-growing herd of alpacas.
The Big Bouquet cafe menu is a showcase of local produce, served with breakfast,
lunch or Devonshire tea. Peruse through the largest range of Australian Alpaca wear
and south american style pieces in the gift shop. Also make the most of the gardens
and playground with plenty of room for the kids to run and enjoy.
