Scout was dropped at the 

vet by Law Enforcement to 

be put down as his owners 

no longer wanted him. The 

vet simply couldn’t do it. He 

stared at her with a wagging 

tail and we were called to 

please rescue him. Scout is 

so timid after having been 

tied up with a heavy painful 

chain all his life. Please give 

him a second chance – he 

deserves it 

Hudsen has been 

disappointed in his life and 

had a rough start. It took our 

fieldworker almost 2 months 

to win his trust and now he 

walks on the lead. He seems 

to be ok with adults and 

children. He plays with dogs 

and is now ready for his new 

home 

Loves walks and cuddles, 

gets along well with dogs. 

Initially it took us hours to 

catch her as she was afraid 

of everything, but with the 

help of volunteers we finally 

caught. Belonged to

Flaffie was rescued from 

owners that left him to die 

covered in fleas and ticks. He 

is a very loving boy who 

seeks approval for 

everything 

Riley is a big dog. Good with 

dogs but we are not sure 

about cats. He is a dominant 

male and best suited with a 

timid female dog. Needs a 

secure yard 

Lilly was handed to us when 

her family was evicted and 

could not take her with, she 

can be a bit territorial and 

overprotective of my human. 

So we need a special home 

with a caring and patient 

person who does not have 

kids or kitties. 

Handsome Ben is an 

absolute darling. Like any 

young doggy, he is playful 

and active. He is better 

suited to older children who 

respect animals.

him. When we rescued him

Jumbo had severe mange 

and rescued by our 

fieldworker in Lamberts bay 

and continued good 

nutrition and medication this 

boy has made a remarkable 

recovery. He is a gentle 

natured boy with a good 

natured disposition 

He was very sick when our 

lady found him, she nursed 

him back to health and now 

needs a home.

Grace was found as a stray, 

we named her after her 

angel that found her. She 

was very thin and sickly, she 

had a split pallet, which has 

healed now. Grace has learnt 

to sit and she responds to 

her name, her foster mom 

says that she is an absolute 

joy to have around, and her 

intelligence is astounding. 

Penny was found wandering 

the streets looking for a 

tidbit to chew, she was 

covered in mange and very 

thing. This delightful little 

puppy has made a 

remarkable recovery and 

ready for her new home. She 

loves tug toys and running 

and playing. She is an 

absolute sweetheart. 

Bella met a cat for the first 

time at her new foster 

home, she was absolutely 

terrified, but after an hour 

she was well friends with the 

kitty. She is a happy carefree 

puppy and loves children, 

dogs and now cats too.

Poor Samson and Delilah 

have been living in kennels 

since they were rescued 

about 8 months ago. They 

are very attached and 

protective of each other 

He is a medium to large 

crossbreed that was found 

on the side of the road. He 

appears to be blind in one 

eye or has only partial 

sighted in that eye. He 

appeared to have been hit 

by a car but is fit now. He is a 

sweetie who did not trust us 

at all at first but we quickly 

won his trust. 

Alfie is a Japanese Shiba Inu 

dog - a Spitz dog. He is a 

medium light tanned boy. 

Shiba inus are a breed that 

needs to be understood. 

They are highly intelligent 

and Alfie is to a T. He does 

jump over 1.8m high fences. 

Bella is an American bulldog 

who is extremely strong. She 

needs a special home where 

they understand the breed. 

She is a love but can push 

her weight around a bit. She 

needs regular walks. She 

needs a firm but loving hand 

and preferably someone 

who would take the time 

and effort to train her.

owners saying she was too 

“naughty”. Maia is a very 

energetic dog that needs a 

firm hand yet a gentle caring 

hand. She needs a little 

training and she is eager to 

learn. 

We got a call that a dog was 

running around dodging 

traffic in the middle of town. 

We found Lyla and took her 

to safety. Her owner came 

along and said he no longer 

wanted her so she is now 

looking for a new home. She 

is a sweet good allrounder 

and excellent family dog. 

Meisiekind is a super cool 

dog, she is real good with 

dogs and very streetwise. 

She has a lovely personality 

and good with kids.

best suited in a quiet home

Saul is a special needs dog. 

He was born blind and lost 

an eye when he got out onto 

the street and was hit by a 

car. He gets very anxious if 

left alone so needs a special 

family and someone who 

would stay at home to 

reassure him.

Found as a stray, she was 

never claimed by her owner. 

She is a beagle cross.

Her owner abandoned her 

and the community asked us 

to take her in. She is shy at 

first but when she warms up 

to you she is a sweet loving 

little pup.



WILLOW 

GABI 




She’s a very sweet little girl 

of about 4 months old. She 

was hit by a car and nobody 

called for help for 2 days. 

Luckily our fearless 

fieldworker found her and 

whisked her away for 

medical treatment. She has 

recovered so well and is 

doing fabulously in foster 

care

that doesn’t run away. Loves 

people and is willing to 

please. 

Chomp is a gentle boy, and 

looking for a retirement 

home, somewhere he can 

laze in the sun and watch the 

clouds. He is a gentle dog, 

very loving.

has an opportunity to go for 

a ride, well then he will jump 

right in and tour the country 

side. He is a sweet dog, very 

relaxed and chilled, would 

make a great family pet.

relaxed. She really would fit 

in with any home. She had 

her right eye removed 

before we got her. She is a 

medium size, very loving and 

very sweet.

first but comes round quite 

quickly.

please her humans.
