Features and Benefits
High quality mobile shelving offers many different features, with the resulting attendant
benefits, so that it is ideally suited for use in libraries, in archives and in offices.
Firstly, it minimizes the need for gangways thus providing up to 60%
more storage space than static shelving within the same floor area.
Adjustable steel shelves and uprights ensure longevity and it should be
possible to select different colours for steel components together with
end panels which can be timber or glass or be screen printed. In
addition to shelves, the availability of filing frames, pull out drawers,
pigeon hole dividers and hanging rails facilitates the storage of a wide
variety of media.
Shelving bays can be provided with hinged or sliding doors for added
security and, subject to load bearing capability, the rails for the mobile
bases can be laid on existing floors with an infill floor between to allow
