PRESENTED BY THE NATIONAL CANNABIS CONFERENCE Cannabis regulations in Canada are slated to become legal later this summer creating two new categories referred to as Micro (“Craft”) Cultivators and Processors. These new Micro categories lower the barrier to entry to become licensed, providing the opportunity for current growers to participate in the new legal framework. Craft cannabis growers have been providing cannabis in Canada for decades and without this new category they risked being shut out of the new legal marketplace. The Micro Grower of the Year Awards was created to help craft growers to continue to be recognized as leaders in this industry and build brand recognition. The awards ceremony will take place at the 2019 National Cannabis Conference in Victoria, British Columbia on April 19, 2019. Remember... micro breweries make some of the best beers, local wineries create some of the finest wines, craft distilleries perfect some of the most exceptional whiskeys, and Craft Cannabis Growers produce the best bud!
