Land of hope and Glory V8 (1)

It's a dynamic which is central to the premise of the story and one which starts
out with a reluctance on both sides, but ends up bonding in the most beautiful
but tragic of ways. It's something which needs real attention to detail and
subtlety in execution. I plan to do that through workshops with the actors,
finding both the beats and the layers of character through trust and
collaboration, working and reworking until the actors’ instinct for the character
becomes seamless.
Ultimately I'd like to make a film, which is an intelligent exploration of
immigration and social circumstance in modern Britain within the strong
narrative setting of a poetic thriller. Told from the perspective of the human
condition where two people are able to better understand themselves and their
lives as a result of high stakes, and learning to tolerate different values and
view of the world.
