THANK-YOU
A special thank you is expressed to all the presenters and
volunteers who worked to make the 7th Grade Diversity Journey,
on April 11, 2018 a success. Additionally, the Peace Center staff
is grateful to Zelma Smith-Dexter and her volunteer staff for
providing excellent hospitality in welcoming the interfaith guests,
serving lunch, and clean-up at the end of the day. Finally, we
convey heartfelt blessings to Former Executive Director Barbara
Talley for ending the event by sharing Christianity and future
denomination strategies of the United Methodist Church.
The Peace Center appreciates every person who
participated in this event, making it an honor to Jesus Christ,
service to the community, and a blessing to the church. It was a
powerful evangelistic pursuit for sharing the Good News of the
Gospel of Jesus Christ in the world (Luke 14:23 NSRV) and is in
line with the mission of the church to go make disciples (Matthew
28:18-20 NSRV).
