About Runway Liberia<br />
Created by Junda Morris- Kennedy, Runway Liberia(RL) is the<br />
biggest event showcasing Liberian Fashion, Music & Arts on<br />
an international platform.<br />
Runway Liberia serves as a collaborative catwalk and exhibition,<br />
highlighting the industries established and emerged<br />
Liberian and International designer. Runway Liberia aims to<br />
create opportunities for emerging designers and the creative<br />
industry of Liberia, through our educational workshops,<br />
Zutin Marketplace, and e-commerce trade.<br />
Beyond the numbers of years of endless wars and with the<br />
strong recovery of the Ebola virus, Runway Liberia serves as a<br />
strong professionally produced platform to promote Liberian<br />
Fashion and Creative Industry across the global.<br />
Runway Liberia is a multifaceted event established to<br />
promote the social, cultural and economic development<br />
initiatives of Liberia to a global audience through fashion<br />
and entertainment.<br />
Runway Liberia Showcase will Feature top (Liberian) designers<br />
from Liberia and around the world presenting exquisite<br />
garments and accessories, World class entertainment from<br />
Liberian & International Acts and Exhibits of art and luxury<br />
products and services.<br />

To increase the visibility and awareness of our designers<br />
by providing them with an affordable global showcasing<br />
platform.<br />
Our Track Record<br />
Founder Junda Morris Kennedy has hosted, coordinated,<br />
contributed expertise to and produced events for over 15<br />
years. Events span from Miss Liberia Maryland, Miss Liberia<br />
USA, Miss Liberia Texas, Miss Liberia in America, Miss Sierra<br />
Leone DC, Miss Africa USA, Miss Africa International, Miss<br />
Africa Nebraska, African International Modeling Competition,<br />
Miss Guinea North America, World Championships of<br />
Performing Arts, Liberia Music Awards, Miss Tourism Liberia<br />
Pageant, Baltimore Fashion Week, Dayton Fashion Week,<br />
Couture Fashion Week and New Silk Road Model Competition<br />
in China.<br />
The inaugural Runway Liberia Showcase was the first event<br />
outside of Liberia sponsored by leading GSM company MTN/<br />
Lonestar Cell. The event attracted Liberian Ambassador<br />
Nathaniel Barnes and his wife plus it featured 15 top African<br />
Fashion Designers. The event award individuals that contributed<br />
significantly to Liberian Fashion, Music, and Culture.<br />
The Theme for Runway Liberia USA 2016 is EMPOWERMENT<br />
& BRANDING”.<br />
As part of our Initiative for empowering and branding the<br />
Liberian Fashion Industry, we will be nominating apprentices<br />
within the Liberian fashion industry that will be Liberian<br />
Fashion Tourism Ambassadors who will be mentored by<br />
different Fashion designers from all over the world for a once<br />
in a lifetime opportunity to showcase collections at Runway<br />
Liberia USA 2016.<br />
