Daily weigh in: Daily weigh-in will begin at 8 am, at Host Hotel<br />

Every boxer and/or coach must confirm they have been placed into the correct age bracket and weight<br />

class before the brackets are published finalized Thursday night. No changes to Brackets on Friday<br />

morning<br />

Brackets: Tournament brackets and bout sheets will be posted on the Facebook Page<br />

Florida Gold Coast Amateur Boxing Association & Florida State Golden Gloves & at the host hotel.<br />

Boxers with less than ten (10) registered bouts will be categorized as a novice boxer. Walkovers and/or<br />

unopposed wins do not count towards receiving a Championship belt. You must compete to receive a<br />

belt.<br />

Novice Division (19-40 years old): A novice boxer must be at least 18 years of age on or before June 28<br />

Novice boxers must be born between the years of 1979 – 2000.<br />

Weights as follow Male : 108, 114, 123, 132, 141, 152, 165, 178, 201, 201+lbs<br />

Weights as follow Females: 106, 112, 119, 125, 132, 141, 152, 165, 178, 178+lbs<br />

Youth Age Division: Youth boxers must be 17 or 18 years of age, determined by the year of birth. This<br />

means the boxer must be born between the years of 2000 or 2001.<br />

Junior Age Division: Junior boxers must be 15 or 16 years of age, determined by the year of birth. This<br />

means the boxer must be born between the years of 2002 or 2003.<br />

Intermediate Age Division: Intermediate boxers must be 13 or 14 years of age, determined by the year<br />

of birth. This means the boxer must be born between the years of 2004 or 2005.<br />

Bantam Age Division: Bantam boxers must be 11 or 12 years of age, determined by the year of birth.<br />

This means the boxer must be born between the years of 2006 or 2007.<br />

Pee Wee Age Division: Pee Wee boxers must be 8, 9 or 10 years of age, determined by the year of birth.<br />

This means the boxer must be born between the years of 2008, 2009 or 2010.<br />

Note: Pee Wee 8 years of age will only compete against another 8 year old. Boxers in the Pee Wee 8<br />

year old division at the start of the tournament will compete as an 8 year old. Those already 9 years old<br />

or born in 2008 will compete in the Pee Wee 9-10 division.<br />
