Acknowledgments 5 Acknowledgments This guide is an adaptation of a more specific <strong>Facilitators</strong>’ <strong>Guide</strong> that was developed for the Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Initiative Project in South Eastern Europe (DPPI-SEE). The development of the earlier and original guide owes a great deal of gratitude to a number of key individuals. I would like to acknowledge the work of the following individuals who I had the privilege to work with in producing some of the material used on this guide from previous projects and assignments. Sumit Mishra for the work on the DRR and HFA Workshop we jointly developed with Joanne Burke, Terry Jeggle and Geraldine Becchi at CADRI.
