know your products intimately. A great way to do this
is by attending Brand Champion training! Andoline
Vogel, a Brand Champion from Bloemfontein,
explains the importance of Brand Champion
training and offers tips on how to host a
training session!

products, your business

In the age of social media, customers often
Google information on products or simply
go to the website. Attending training gives
you an advantage because you learn facts
about the products that aren’t necessarily
available on social media. This allows you, as
a Consultant, to offer a better, more personal
service to your Customers.
Top Tip:
Training is the quickest way
to get up to date with product
knowledge. If you are hosting
training, make a list of what was
covered in the training and who
attended so you stay up to date
with who knows what.

Andoline says all the leaders in Leslie Grobler’s group hand out
a questionnaire. If the attendees answer ‘no’ to three or more
questions on the questionnaire then it is an indication that they
have to attend Brand Champion training.
Andoline suggests hosting a training session once a month
so the focus can be on the product focus for that particular
month. Additionally, she says she makes the training sessions
very practical. For example, she prints out her PowerPoint
presentations and hands them out before the training session
starts so attendees can make notes during training.
