Ps 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.<br />

Cleansing is through the blood. Forgiveness and cleansing are both through the blood. <strong>The</strong> blood<br />
breaks the power that sin has in heaven to condemn us. <strong>The</strong> blood there<strong>by</strong> also breaks the power of<br />
sin in the heart to hold us captive. <strong>The</strong> blood has a ceaseless operation in heaven from moment to<br />
moment. <strong>The</strong> blood has likewise a ceaseless operation in our heart, to purify, to keep pure the heart<br />
into which sin always seeks to penetrate from the flesh. <strong>The</strong> blood cleanses the conscience from dead<br />
works, to serve the living God. <strong>The</strong> marvelous power that the blood has in heaven, it has also in the<br />
heart. (John 13:10,11; Heb. 9:14; 10:22; 1 John 1:7)<br />
Joh 13:10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean<br />
every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.<br />
Joh 13:11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.<br />
Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered<br />
himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?<br />
