Kiwanis, Friends of the Parks and 2-1-1 again this year
Passes are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the
Fairfield County 2-1-1 office at 108 W. Main Street.
make this program possible. Each pass enables the holder
to visit Miller Pool five times and are completely free. A parent
or guardian is required to obtain the passes and a 2016-
17 year-end report card is required, as well as verification of
income for the past three months.
For information contact the 2-1-1 office between the
hours of 9 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday.
and/or an air conditioner, and/or a fan.
Individuals may be eligible for a monetary benefit, air
conditioner, fan or central air conditioner repair. People
receiving an air conditioner or fan in 2015—2017 will not be
through an appointment or by simply visiting Community
Action.
Quite an Honor
Art and Clay’s Artist in
Residence Brandon
Muck recently had
the opportunity to
show his work at a
DODD Event which
featured artists who
have reached a professional
status.
The event, held in
downtown Columbus,
gave Brandon the opportunity
to meet other
artists, as well as to
have a conversation
with DODD Director
John Martin, pictured
here with Brandon.
It’s always exciting
to watch Brandon
take his artistic accomplishments
to the
next level!
Congratulations to Dustin Barkley who graduated from
Forest Rose School last month! After walking to the
stage to the tune Happy, Dustin was joined on stage by
Commissioner Dave Levacy, Superintendent John
Pekar, Board President Mark Weedy and Director of Education
Jodi Blais, along with all of his schoolmates and
family and friends. Best wishes in your next chapter!
