INTRODUCTION PROFILE
‘D’ Farmer’s was registered in 1999 by Mr. Dindial Sikumar who is partly vertically integrated (grower and processor) and
because of this he has more margins to play with. Mr. Sikumar has been in agriculture since the age of 16 years old and now
he is a strong 59 year old and his passion for agriculture, business and family lives strong. As a first prizewinner in agroprocessing
(Ministry of Agriculture), he believes that agriculture is a business and the owner must invest to stay ahead. This
is a major reason why ‘D’ Farmer’s products are 100% local, since they provide raw materials especially for their seasonings.
‘D’ Farmer’s Distributors is an arm of ‘D’ Famer’s Company Limited, located in Central Trinidad, West Indies. Our aim is to
supply all local processed items, locally grown fresh produce and other items such as handmade craft, local snacks, food and
much more.
We manufacture fresh blends of Seasonings, Hot Sauce and also a Minced Pimento Sauce. Each of our products are made
through stringent quality control and does not need refrigeration. They are of high standard and also FDA Approved with a
shelf life of one and half years. Our Trinidadian culture stands firmly especially when it comes to agriculture and outdoors. In
acknowledgement to this, produce would be picked to the best choice making our products again, 100% local. This is a family
owned business and is now being managed by his children and we are proud suppliers to leading supermarkets in Trinidad
and Tobago.
