Chapter 1<br />
The Everlasting Gospel<br />
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of<br />
heaven, having the everlasting Gospel <strong>to</strong> preach<br />
un<strong>to</strong> them that dwell on the earth, and <strong>to</strong> every<br />
nation, and kindred, and <strong>to</strong>ngue, and people, saying<br />
with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory <strong>to</strong><br />
Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and<br />
worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the<br />
sea, and the fountains of waters. (Rev. 14:6, 7)<br />
In these words a special, world-wide<br />
proclamation of the Gospel is brought <strong>to</strong> view. It is<br />
the same work of which Christ spoke when He<br />
said, "This Gospel of the kingdom shall be<br />
preached in all the world for a witness un<strong>to</strong> all<br />
nations; and then shall the end come." (Matt.<br />
24:14) This appears from the fact that the next<br />
event in the prophecy is the coming of Christ. "And<br />
I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the<br />
cloud one sat like un<strong>to</strong> the Son of man, having on<br />
His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp<br />
