THERMOWOOD<br />

Canadian Cedar timbers that have been through thermowood heating<br />
are;<br />
•More resistant to corrosion.<br />
•More resistant to all kinds of weather conditions.<br />
•Raciness are taken out.<br />
•High resistant to cracking and revolving.<br />
Thermowood is a special heating process. But thermowood teated<br />
timbers are heated up to 210° C. None of the chemicals are used<br />
during thermowood heating process. The process is totally undertaken<br />
with high temperature and steam. This method can be implemented<br />
on several timbers but in the market, it is generally implemented on<br />
Swedish pine, limba, iroco, ash tree and Canadian cedar. The water<br />
resistance, humidity balance, resistance to corruption of these woods<br />
are taken to the highest level with thermowood heating. Deck oil<br />
applied in pre manufacture period is applied for the second time after<br />
on-site installation. Thus, timbers have the resistance to be used in wet<br />
environment for a long period of time.<br />
