Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,
Greetings to you in the sweet name of Jesus
Christ. I am very happy to reach out to
Him through our bulletin after quite a long
time due to some unforeseen circumstances
and I am sure you are very aware of
them. I am now back home and at your
disposal. Thanks to all of you for your valuable
prayers, concern and love.
As you well know, one of the greatest
events of our parish community is our Fall
Festival. It’s the talk of the town. So, also,
our Yard Sale which always goes hand-inhand
with the festival as it provides the
seed money for the latter. I, therefore, earnestly
ask you to extend your helping
hands in whatever way possible. Our parish
community is well known for its generosity,
cooperation and hard work to insure
the success of these events.
Good news!! Our parish community has
grown by the arrival of new born baby boy
that Jocie Franco gave birth to. Both mom
and the child are doing well. Let us welcome
the child and pray for him. Thank
you.

Parish Yard Sale: It’s getting to be that
time of year again—Yard Sale time—as
we lead up to our annual Fall Festival. We
don’t yet have a specific date for the sale,
but this is a good time to begin sorting
through your “stuff” and setting items
aside to donate to the sale. As you know,
this event provides “seed money” for the
festival, so it’s very important. You can also
now begin to bring your donated items
to Boland Hall to store for the sale.
Important CCD Information: In preparation
for the upcoming CCD school year,
we need a lot of help from our parishioners.
We are in need of teachers for the
program and specialty coordinators in
specific areas. Please prayerfully consider
giving of your time and talent to this program.
Parish Council: The Parish Council will
meet Friday, August 3rd at 10:00 AM in
Boland Hall. All members please make
plans to attend.
Parish Finance Committee: Our parish’s
next Finance Committee meeting will be
Saturday, August 4th at 10:00 AM in Boland
Hall. There is much to discuss as we
approach this year’s stewardship drive, so
it is important that all members be present.
Mark your calendars now, please.
Saturday, July 28th, is the Feast Day of
Bl. Stanley Rother. He was martyred on
this date in 1981 in Guatemala. He was
a seminary classmate of Fr. Milsted.
Please pray for his canonization to
sainthood. Information cards are available
at the back of the church.
