URBAN CYCLING TIPS
The best way to protect yourself while sharing urban streets
with motor vehicles it to ride very defensively. When coming
to a traffic light or stop sign controlled intersections, try to
make eye contact with the vehicle operator that may be
crossing your path. Always signal your intentions in advance
and keep as far to the side of the road so that overtaking
vehicles have room to pass. At night, always equip your
bicycle with a headlight and taillight.
