top 5 tips for aquascaping with decoration.<br />
1. Decide on your central theme and stick to it. This could be a scenic design<br />
or colour theme, but make sure you consider every item you add and<br />
ensure it works with your design.<br />
2. ‘Soften’ feature items with complimentary decor such as pebbles, starfish<br />
and shells to build up the composition and theme.<br />
3. Use synthetic plants to add height and build up levels. Use a variety of<br />
textures to add interest, but maintain a colour theme so that it all works<br />
together.<br />
4. Spend a little time keeping it clean. No one likes algae and waste in<br />
the aquarium. Keeping your decor well maintained makes the whole<br />
aquarium look healthy and clean.<br />
5. Change it up. As you would with your home, change and element of the<br />
design to create a new look every so often. Keeping it fresh means you’ll<br />
continue to enjoy your aquascaping.<br />
