In order for consumers to appreciate the benefits of Cannabidiol also known
as CBD, they must first understand what it is not. Consumers must understand
that CBD is not an illegal drug that contains tetrahydrocannabinol. What makes
Cannabidiol illegal is the THC which is the most active ingredient making cannabis
psychoactive. Since the THC is mainly extracted from the marijuana plant
stripped to the level of .03%, you can not get “high”.
What many of us who looking for alternatives oppose to pharmaceutical
prescription side-‐effects medications, the question comes about “where do CBD
comes from?” Ok. Here is your answer. CBD stems from Cannabis Sativa Plant
known as Hemp. Marijuana also comes from the Cannabis Sativa Plant. It is the
hemp which is the least processed of the Cannabis Sativa Plant that contains the
medicinal values.
The medicinal values involves 104 chemical compounds, and Cannabinoids
that communicates with CB1 receptors located mostly in the brain. The CB1
receptors in the brain is the mastermind of movement, pain, emotions, moods,

thinking, appetite and our memories. The CB2 receptors are commonly known to

be in our immune system. The CB2 attacks inflammation in many parts of our
body and behaves as a pain killing machine that assist with pain management.
One thing must be made clear. The human body does possess a cannabinoid
known as endocannabinoid and endogenous cannabinoid.
Straying away from the technicality about the terms pertaining to
endocannabinoid and the endogenous cannabinoids, CB1, CB2 receptors, the
bottom line is that authors of study published in the Journal of Experimental
Medicines, and similar reviews published in the Neurotherapeutic found CBD as a
promising treatment for opioid addiction disorders. The Food and Drug
Administration, FDA, approves the use of CBD for treating epilepsy seizures
(Johnson, 2018). It has become a no brainer to make a decision to many of us who
are tired of watching commercials informing us about the detrimental side-‐effects
that may not only damage different part of our organs but cause death. However,
this is only after the fact the media is helping pharmaceutical companies brain wash
us in taking these medication. Can we say have “have some and take more.”

The billion dollar pharmaceutical industry does informs consumers about the
side-‐effects of many of the medication we “must take”, makes a publicized dis-claimers
that keeps them off the hook for being sued millions and millions of
dollars.
Now let’s keep in mind, the FDA is supposedly be “thee authority” to
guarantee safety for pharmaceutical products. It is under the assumption that the
FDA itself as an Agency closely tests all new drugs come into play. When in fact,

FDA collects nothing more than clinical data or trails from pharmaceutical

companies to prove their drugs is good enough to be on the market. Even more
so, FDA collects clinical trials as a review in validating that pharmaceutical drugs
are good enough to be in consumer’s bathroom’s medicine cabinets. As Dr.
Marcia Angell, former Editor in Chief of New England Journal of Medicine informs
readers that like statistics involves numbers can be manipulates so too goes for
clinical trials can be rigged. The reason being for such practices by the
pharmaceutical industries is because the FDA has established financial
involvement with major drug companies and pharmaceuticals conglomerates. To
be sure, this is why medical science has always been slow to verify health claims.
In addition to this, medical science invest approximately $51.3 billion on
pharmaceuticals drugs discovery and development. But will not spend as much
for herbs and other supplements. Medical science will not patent alternatives to
manufactured drugs because they cannot be patent for financial pay off for the
medical field arena. Simply meaning, doctors must be legally drug pushers too.

However, FDA did approved the use of CBD for treating epilepsy seizures in
pill form because everyone in the medical arena field will receive monetary gain
from it (Johnson, 2018).
Alright, now review some other facts how the financial gain of manufactured
prescription drugs. OxyContin is legal in all 50 states, it ruins lives, ends lives, and

yet still, the government signs off on the ability of doctors to give it away like candy.
It should amazes us that no one is saying that drugs like OxyContin should be illegal.
But how is it that marijuana is illegal while these dangerous opioid drugs are legal
is cynical. There is an irony in all of this. Tens and thousands of children suffer from
epilepsy in the United States. Of those tens of thousands, only a very few have
access to having the opportunity in receiving cannabis. The rest possibly face losing
their rights as parents or worse jailed for trying to help their children suffering from
seizures.
MOTHERS SHARE HOW CANNABIS OIL IS
HELPING THEIR CHILDREN WITH SEIZURES

Sadly, the regime of deadly opioid drugs with its’ side effects is perfectly

legal. Even worse, the FDA has approved OxyContin for children young as 11 years
old. What wrong with this picture? Change The Future Outcome , CTFO believes
there is a better choice than medicating consumers with side-‐effects drugs that
can be detrimental to your health. This is why CTFO wants you to first watch
